Drink 8-10 glasses of water every day (2.5 litres) It is the human bodys equivilent to petrol, your car will not run unless it has petrol…the same for the human body, it needs this amount of water to run at its potential!!
Mix 30 mls of flaxseed oil and 15 mls of apple cider vinegar each day, you can either use it as salad dressing, mix it with diet lemonade or tomatoe juice and drink, or down the hatch in one go!!! This mixture is very helpful in the fat burning process, it also helps with skin tone and provides the body with much needed ESSENTIAL FATTY ACIDS, that are often missing from diets.
Mix the juice of half a lemon in warm water and drink on an empty stomach first thing in the morning. This helps eliminate water retention, helps with weight reduction and keeping the system alkaline. Having a alkaline system helps to clean the body of yeast and fungal overgrowth and will help to break down fat. Lemon juice acts as a blood purifier and improves the bodys ability to get rid of toxins. Adding lemon to protein sources such as meat, chicken, fish, beans and eggs helps to digest proteins.
Replace your ordinary salt with “Lite salt” or “No Salt”, Celtic salt, Sea Salt, or Himalayan Rock Salt. Your body will hold in more fluid if you consume normal table salt.
You should try and do at least 30 mins of exercise 3 times per week, this will help in any accumulated toxins move from the tissues, it will help increase your metabolism and tone your body. The extra oxygen supply to the mitochondria of muscle cells, (the little energy packs of your cells), will increase your body’s ability to burn fat and shift your lean body mass to fat ratio in favour of muscle. Be Positive!!! Your subconscious presently has an image that you are overweight and unfortunately will control your weight if you don’t do something positive about it. You are the one who let yourself become overweight because your self image accepted it. We need to be so positive for the rest of our lives that we will never put the weight back on. This will help place positive suggestions into your subconcious in accordance with your own desires to lose weight forever.
Do not weigh yourself each day as weight loss can vary from day to day and you may become discouraged. Measurement comparisons are often a more accurate way to measure fat loss. It is really safisfying to see yourself change shape and have the tape measure prove it!!! Remember muscle weighs more than fat. So, if you are exercising and not losing weight on the scales remember you may be losing centimetres… so start measuring!!!!
DONT SKIP MEALS!!! this will slow your metabolism and burn fat at a slower rate. You will also be inclined to overeat at your next meal or grab something “not allowed” as a snack. When cooking your lunch/dinner, make double so you have a ready made meal for the next day… saves you loads of time, and stops the potential slip ups that may happen when you are out and about.
If you do “slip up” don’t beat yourself up!!! Get back on track straight away, If you “feel down”, don’t give up, Remember why you wanted to lose weight in the first place… What was your compelling reason?
